Governance

As a private-public partnership, Invest Nebraska is open and honest with its partners, stakeholders, and funders in everything we do.  Transparency and integrity are very important to us and we will constantly improve our best practices.  Please let us know if you have any comments or questions.

Invest Nebraska is governed by an eight-person board of directors.  The board meets on a quarterly basis, usually during March, June, September, and December.   The December meeting is considered our Annual meeting at which time election of officers for the following calendar year occurs.

A six-person executive committee, comprised of five board members and one ex-officio board member, meet on a monthly basis to oversee the work of management, receive portfolio company updates, discuss due diligence progress, and review monthly financials of the organization.  All loans and investments recommended by Invest Nebraska management must be approved by an investment committee comprised of board members.
