Brock Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Economics and joint JD/MBA degrees. At 18 years old, Brock co-founded his first company in Kansas City, Missouri. He exited the company in 2014. At the end of 2014, he co-founded another company, T&B Innovations, which received a state prototyping grant and won $56,000 through various start-up competitions. Brock spent 18 months fundraising for the St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and Newman Center’s $25 million capital campaign before coming to work at Invest Nebraska in June 2015. He currently sits on the Phi Kappa Theta-Nebraska Pi alumni association board and LIBA’s Government Caucus committee.
