Shelby Strattan is an Omaha native who has spent years working in diverse environments and is passionate about bringing these experiences back home. Most recently, Shelby served as a Director at Canopy, a Midwest agroforestry startup, where she helped the team structure and launch a perennial crop investment vehicle to scale tree crop adoption. Before that, Shelby spent several years in New York, working in capital markets banking at Citibank and at a private equity firm where she was involved in fundraising for a $1.3 billion fund. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in startup operations, fundraising, capital markets strategy, and legal structuring. Shelby holds a degree in Finance from Tulane University.
